Hi Clayton, Have you tried to set parameters as "expand inline"? Try writting the procedure's name in square brackets. I used an advanced query to execute a stored procedure (with no parameters) and the SQL statement i used is as simple as: EXEC [my_proc] Staff Rank: #175 Hi Clayton, Since it's hard to detect where something might have gone wrong, let me guide you through the process of creating a stored procedure and executing it. 1 - To start off, open SQL Server Management Studio, or a similar program, in order to login to the database. 2 - Login to (local)\OUTSYSTEMS using Windows Authentication 3 - Click on the "outsystems" database, under "Databases" 4 - Right-click on it, and select "New Query" 5 - Execute the following query: use outsystems; go create procedure test1 as select name from ossys_espace exec test1 6 - Now your stored procedure should show up on the tree, under outsystems > Programmability > Stored Procedures 7 - Right-click the stored procedure, and click "Properties" 8 - Click the "Permissions" option, and then the "Search... " button on the right side.
clearly indicates that this buffer was reached. Here is a sample application eventlog entry that describes a similar issue that you may see when transferring a large file from BizTalk Server to AX 2009 using the AX 2009 BizTalk Adapter: Source: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 adapter Event ID: 0 Level: Error Description: The adapter is unable to send the following message to Microsoft Dynamics AX: MessageId: {Guid} Error: Error executing code: Insufficient memory to run script. Error executing code: object not initialized. (C)\Classes\\submitMessage ————————————————————————– Product Version: 5. 0 Assembly Version: 5. 0. 0 Class: AdapterTransmitterEndpoint Method: ProcessMessage Subsystem: BizTalkDynamicsAdapter ————————————————————————– Please note: Don't mix up this setting with the SQL buffer setting "Maximum buffer size" that can be set on the Database Tuning tab of the Dynamics AX Server Configuration Utility. Although both sound similar they are two independant settings! The maximum amount can be controlled by a Registry value, however the Registry value needs to be adjusted for the component that is executing the X++ code, which can be either the Dynamics AX Client or the Dynamics AX Business Connector (also used by the AX BizTalk Adapter) and/or the Dynamics AX AOS service.

Could the issue with the inotify be coming from here?
I am using I want to execute some code immediately after successful completion of request. In my application, this will be a recurring pattern. I am looking to be able to do something of this sort function(req, res){ ( data, function(){ // do something after response is sent});} Or, may be more elegantly, using promises function(req, res){ (data)(function(){})} I did see solutions mentioned here and here on SO. These solutions provide a way to call a middleware (common to all kinds of requests) after successful completion of EVERY response. But my situation requires me to execute a different function for every request. This is important enough that, if this isn't possible cleanly I might consider moving away from, which I don't want to! Any pointers?

Then we found this article: @ivanermilov/how-to-fix-inotify-cannot-be-used-reverting-to-polling-too-many-open-files-bb1c1437dbf, so have moved on the change the 'max_user_instances' value. This was first doubled to 256, and for 15mins we received no inotify error messages, but then they restarted. Then the value was doubled again, and the messages stopped for over 40mins before being reported. Then it was doubled again, and the errors stopped for 4hours and 20mins. Investigations on the agent server for the js user show that the agent appears to be starting a new Light Weight Process (thread) every 10 seconds and each new LWP is creating a inotify watch on a directory specified for a file order source. None of these then appear to close, and remian running, and so the limit is always reached whenever it is increased. According to our system support, they beieve there is an issue with using polling and inotify. They undertand that the old method was to "poll" a file or directory every n seconds to see if it had changed and act accordingly, but when using inotify a single "watch" is setup and the kernel would alert the process only when a change was made.
Staff Rank: #54 HI Diana, xp_cmdShell is a very dangerous command in SQL Server since it will enable you to execute operating system commands directly from the server. Being such a dangerous command it is very well protected and you will need to ask your DBA folks or yourself to configure its execution properly. However my recomendation is that you find an alternative way and discontinue the use of the xp_cmdShell. It looks like the execution of xp_cmdShell is already enabled (it's such a bad prectice that this command comes disabled by default) After that you should create a proxy account under which the xp_cmdshell will run with its security context. Finally you need to grant the execution of xp_cmdShell it selft to the user of the calling connection (OSRuntime eventually) You have some digging to do, these links will help you get started: Best Regards Rui Hi Rui, This error: '##xp_cmdshell_proxy_account##' credential exists and contains valid information, lead me to this answer and it works fine.
