Get Involved How You Can Help. Make A Donation You can make a one time donation or set-up a monthly recurring donation. Donate Food/Supplies Because of the continuing economic slump and the high cost of housing, more people are coming to us for emergency food than ever before. Donate Holiday Supplies Because of generous seasonal holiday donations from friends of Project Hospitality, the children, men, and women in our housing and other programs are able to celebrate holidays along with everyone else in the community. Faith In Action Each year, Project Hospitality welcomes nearly 30 high school, college, and adult groups from across the United States to our weeklong educational mission program. Legacy Giving With a little planning, your gift to Project Hospitality can help achieve your financial, philanthropic, and estate-planning goals. Random facts are that I like playing league of legends (diamond in TFT btw), stock trading and exploring new food joints. u/-SFU- (Year 1 MD) I graduated with a BSc from UBC (despite my username) and was accepted into the Vancouver-Fraser Medical Program this Summer. I hope to practice Family Med in the future for under-serviced communities. I'm nowhere close to a typical pre-med. I failed some courses during my degree, had no research publications, nor won any scholarships. I did however have multiple jobs and volunteer experiences that (I think) highlighted my passion to contribute to the community. u/ubcsci (Year 1 MD) I majored in Biochem at UBC (cGPA 89 / aGPA 90). Did a lot of research-related ECs (clinical co-ops for 16 months, summer studentship at BCCH, 2 worklearns also at hospitals). Highly recommend co-op!! Regret not having many hobbies during undergrad. I don't think I was particularly disadvantaged is any way - I had a supportive family and was financially okay. And for future plans, idk...
Ratings by category Clear The work inverionment was ok. Everyone got along with everyone... Except a few of us. We worked really hard to make production every night. The manger had his picks. But for the majority it was ok. I loved the familyness of the job. But like I said the manager had his picks. Pros Everyone did for everyone Cons Bad work ethic on the supervisor side Your advancement will be halted based on personal relationships rather than performance. Lack of professionalism in management & unfair business practices. Pros 401k plan, Christmas bonuses & a cultured working environment Cons Short breaks, being rushed on break, being watched on break, Tendency to overwork skilled employees to compensate for less productive individuals Me gustaba mucho hacer este trabajo por qué es muy fácil y los supervisores muy amables. It's not a place of business in all my life I have never worked in such a poor unmanaged work environment. They show favoritism. They don't keep to their word. They tell you what you want to hear just to get the job done.

If that's the case, it should also note if you need to confirm or simply accept the invitation. Not reading your entire interview invitation. The contact for confirming your interview or for other relevant communications may not be the person who actually sent your invitation. Make sure to read everything sent to you in order to avoid contacting the wrong person or otherwise causing confusion. Being sloppy in your communications. Remember that every communication is an opportunity not only to gather information but to also make a good impression. Not asking for all the information you need in one email (or call) or sending an email off with errors such as spelling mistakes or typos will be marks against you before you even get your foot in the door. Accepting an interview time and date without checking your schedule. Even if you don't currently have a job, you may already have things on your schedule that day, in which case you need to let your interview scheduler know that the date and time don't work for you.
