She said there wasn't, and she offered to walk me through the steps to formally apply. Mind you, it was a career fair, so most technically didn't apply already. Of course, I did already apply because I was super interested in the position, and I asked for her email instead. She gave it to me, and said I could email her any questions, and that I should hear back in 2 weeks or less, and if I don't, I should email her and she'd help me. As someone with literally no knowledge of how job interviews work, besides researching and preparing extensively, I don't really know whether or not this was good. I have such a low knowledge that I don't even know whether this was the actual interview or not. This position is financially important to my college experience (if I get it, it pays so well I will owe nothing and will in fact be making thousands a year). Anyone have any insight? Experience like this? Thanks!
What the hell have i been doing in college? Tbh as much as ive typed here, i actually got a lot of other things affecting my-mental health. Im thinking of seeking school therapy but theyre kinda on a 30 minute timer. Seeing if i can get a suggestion here. Maybe somehow min max my life style... Thanks if you actually read this all, its kinda jumbled from a full day type. Kinda like a recollection of thoughts. Still its only a portion on whats going on my mind now. Got midterms coming up and its kind of a stress to cramp a month of content in a couple of days. TLDR: Friend had a very contagious anxiety attack which i pretty much took. Reflected on how lifes been since covid where I did not follow the honor code in university classes and as a result i am clueless on certain topics of engineering and regretting every single bit. I cannot blame covid but i blame my lack of self discipline. I cannot work/study properly on a computer and will start running away by playing games or others -> homework being done late and will have lack of sleep.
Areas I don't have (much) experience in that I often see on job postings: Quantitative research experience. (I did well in college math/statistics and am confident I could learn this, but I don't have any existing experience with it. ) Experience with social-scientific qualitative research/interviews/surveys. (I've done this for some grad seminar projects, but not for my dissertation work. ) Portfolio of non-academic published writing. (The closest I have are a few public musicology blog posts and CD liner notes written more than 5 years ago. I have some personal writing projects I'd like to work on, so perhaps building a portfolio could be an achievable medium-term goal. ) SEO optimization knowledge/experience. (Considering taking an online course on this, but not sure how much it would help me without demonstrated experience implementing SEO. ) Project management experience. (Some of my service work kind of fits this... ) X years of experience in the relevant career sector.... In the longer term, I could imagine pursuing further education/unpaid volunteer or freelance work/etc to build experience in these areas, but right now I really just need a job.

Hey peeps, So, I've been reading around recently, to try and understand the TRUE power of the LOA. And I stumbled across a gem which I thought might help you as we head into 2021... I'll paste it below: How Manifesting Took Jennifer and her Daughter From Homeless to A Penthouse Sweet in 3 short months... Jennifer lost her Mum, her relationship, her job, her home and even her car, all in the same year. With no income, she was forced to live in a hostel with her 4-year old daughter, Milly. All Jennifer wanted was a safe and stable place for them to stay. She would apologise to Milly every night for feeling like a failure as a mom. Some nights, when Milly wasn't looking… Jennifer would sit alone and cry. Her life had gone from safe, happy and secure… To a homeless, broken wreck… In just a few short months. "I knew she deserved all the things I had as a child, " Jennifer said. "I felt so guilty for bringing her into this world and not being able to provide for Milly. " Jennifer tried everything.

She would send out her resume. Door knock at different companies. At one stage she even offered to work for free just for the chance to provide for Milly. Eventually, Jennifer landed a job as a cleaner. And the bus ride was so long that she started listening to interviews about spirituality. This is how she stumbled upon the law of attraction. Jennifer thought it was a hoax at first… But she'd already tried handing out her resume to companies she was qualified for… She had even tried to pick up two jobs to make ends meet… And so, she decided that manifestation couldn't hurt… Because as far as she understood, she may have even manifested negative things into her life. Manifestation would give her more control. Each day, Jennifer started to spend time manifesting her dream reality. She started with her career. What happened next, blew her away. She landed a job at one of the BEST companies she'd applied with… Even though the application had been months ago. Jennifer's hands were shaking when she got off the call.
